As we approach the end of the year, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and reflection. It has been a year of growth, resilience, and collective achievements. As we prepare to bid farewell to 2023, I wanted to take a moment to share some highlights and express my heartfelt appreciation to each member of our school community.
This year, our students have showcased remarkable achievements both inside and outside the classrooms. From academic accomplishments to artistic expressions, athletic triumphs to acts of kindness, every achievement contributes to the rich tapestry that defines our Lindisfarne community. I am immensely proud of the dedication and hard work displayed by our students, supported by the unwavering commitment of our teachers and staff.
As we enter the festive season, it's an opportune time to reflect on the spirit of gratitude. I extend my sincere thanks to our parents and guardians for their continued support. Your involvement in your child's education is a cornerstone of our success. To our exceptional teaching and administrative and support staff, thank you for your tireless efforts in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
This year has presented its share of challenges, but the resilience and adaptability displayed by our school community have been nothing short of inspiring. Together, we have navigated uncertainties and embraced new ways of learning and connecting. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for your patience, understanding, and collaborative spirit.
Our staffing has been finalised for 2024 and I am pleased to share these with you:
As we head into the Christmas break, I hope each of you takes the time to rest, rejuvenate, and cherish moments with loved ones. The new year brings with it new possibilities, and I am excited about the continued growth and success of Lindisfarne in 2024.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year, ready for another chapter in our shared journey of learning and growth.

Young people across Tasmania are invited to apply, no matter their academic or participation background. DPAC wants a diverse group of young people who can bring a range of experiences and perspectives.
DPAC would welcome the opportunity to promote the PYAC in your school newsletter and other communication channels. Will your child be 4 turning 5 in 2024?
Please ensure that you have completed an enrolment form for Kindergarten at LPS in 2024. Next year there will be 2 class groups, Kinder Blue: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Kinder White: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
First and foremost, the classes are put together to ensure equity in size and gender (where possible). A lot of thought is put into forming both class groups and we encourage you to attend our Pre-Kinder sessions. We will consider the individual learning needs of every individual with the intent to create the best possible learning environment for each child.
